Values are how we act and behave in everyday life.

During 2024 we gathered community voice to reconstruct our school values. There were many values that were chosen which were synonyms of each other, making the choice to use Māori concepts easier as they have a deeper sense of meaning to cover what we believe our young ākonga need to be able to develop into respectful and hard working rangatira of the future. 

Our school values and learning collaboratively allows everyone at Mihi School to head in the same direction. Our school values will support all tamariki throughout their lives no matter where they are or who they become. Our values are used everyday through lessons, actions, and frame our behaviour management and reward system.

These values support our vision of Growing Great People.
