Each term our localised curriculum is driven by a broad, overarching concept. These concepts allow for learning across all curriculum areas and through a variety of different learning experiences.Â
The local area is utilised each term, providing authentic learning for all students. Education Outside the Classroom is an important part of our learning and includes anything that happens outside the four walls of the classroom and focuses on the ways that teachers and students interact with the environment as a learning space.                EOTC experiences bring our localised curriculum to life as students are able to see it in an authentic context, relating it to their own lives.Â
The Mihi School localised curriculum allows for students to build on their prior knowledge, utilise skills taught and apply them to new learning. Discovery Learning plays an important role in the delivery of our localised curriculum.Â
